The food and service is good. It's crowded when we go there for breakfast. But it's just too noisy.

Stopped in as we were driving through town. We had a party of 11 and they made arrangements and got us all seated quickly. Service was outstanding and the only thing better was the food. Our waiter was friendly attentive and gave his absolute best as well as the whole staff. Every plate everyone in our group ordered looked amazing and everyone gave their seal of approval. I absolutely recommend Firehouse Cafe.

Great food, wonderful service. Lost 1 star because of the first 2 positives - there is a bit of a wait and too many people makes it LOUD!The atmosphere has an old time cafe feel which invokes a feeling of nostalgia for those of us that grew up in small town Texas.

Clean place. Decorated appropriately. The food is omg good. Closes at 2pm but they don't throw you out or rush you out. All of the staff waits on all of the tables to make sure that you are taken care of. The food is plentiful on a large plate. This place was suggested to me by a friend and she also warned me that there are times that you can't get into it. They do have take out on call in orders. Wonderful amount of deserts to have if you can possible have the room for them. I was impressed by the cinnamon rolls that literally are the size of your face.

Awesome place, good service... just go as early as 4am to get a table.

Unfortunately this is the best breakfast in town. I say unfortunately because it seems everyone in town agrees with me. It’s not a huge place so it can get crowded. Lots of regulars like to go early and set up camp which makes it harder for those of us with things to do to get in and out. I have never had to wait more than 5-10 minutes for a table so no big deal. Food is great and you get plenty for the money. Staff is fantastic and seem to all work together to keep everyone taken care of. Not uncommon for one server to bring drinks, one to take your order and another bring your food out. It’s very efficient and I like that a lot. Please knock out a wall and add more tables.

Very cool restaurant that is Firefighter themed. The waitresses were quick and accurate. The food was great. Saw many locals coming and going. In a strip mall with other restaurants. Ample easy parking. I had the meatloaf lunch special which had great flavor.

Stopped in just for a cinnamon roll. It was delicious. Glad I had someone to share with, it was huge. The plates being served to those eating in looked fantastic. I will definitely go back when I can sit and have breakfast.

The food was excellent here. The service was super as the staff share in the tips so everyone of them was helpful throughout our dining experience. Would highly recommend breakfast here any day.

Ate there for the first time this morning. The bus person was so rude and unwelcoming we were about to leave but in effort to save time we stayed. The place was full two open tables were both dirty. We waited until she finished cleaning it . I smiled ,thanked her and she just gave me the nastiest glares as if I offended her by saying "thank you,," I mentioned it to our waiter so he knew how unwelcoming her behavior was and maybe mention it to her. If he did it certainly wasn't evident by her actions. Everyone has moments but geez.The food was edible not good, definitely not great. This morning was my first and last time eating here. It's unfortunate. A little bit of warmth goes a long way. You truly do have one opportunity to make a first impression.

A very good cafe here in Granbury, Tx. My husband and I love cafes. They’re always fair in pricing, give too much food and usually it’s good food. I had the pancake and bacon. Pancake was as big as the plate. Loads of bacon. We will visit again as we’re new to the area. Loved it. Plenty of parking and well kept bathrooms. Also lots of seating.

Good home style food! Open for breakfast and lunch only. Fast service and friendly staff. Price point is good. The restaurant is always packed and is quite loud. This is not the place for a quiet intimate meal. The seating is close together and there is a lot of hustle and bustle going on all around. The restaurant and women's restroom are clean.

Overall it was disappointing. My family apparently are regulars- however my mother and myself joined. It was too loud and there was lack of communication. When my mother asked for multiply things- she got side eyes and got spoke about at the counter, several times! The amount of disgusting judging from the service staff was appalling! If they knew she was terminal and struggling with her own issues would they have been nicer? I'm guessing not. She wasnt rude, just asking for things that had been ordered, nor was it blamed - as I stated it was sooo loud in there. Will not go out of my way to spend my time or money there

Omg. You have absolutely got to get one of them huge cinnamon rolls that are freshly baked right there everyday when you order it !! Baked right there from scratch ! The rest of the food is really good to

One of the best breakfasts I've had in a while. Great diner setting, with an excellent and fun staff. Guests are great as well. This feels like a neighborhood restaurant, where everyone is like family.If you're in the area and are looking for a great morning start, this is the place.

My wife and I was not impressed with the food, staff or environment. You can not turn around without touching someone. We were not giving the option of a booth or table. We were seated by another couple and it was like we were invading there space! I could keep going but I think you all get the idea!

Service was good, food was hot and fresh but a little short on flavor. Might have been because they were busy. Didnt like being charged almost $7 for my 3 yr old to have a drink, 1 pancake and 1 piece of sausage.

It was not very good. Doughy pancakes, greasy sausage, burnt toast, three or four staff members standing at the counter eating. Very unprofessional, and subpar food. We won't be back.

Service was slow, Never been stared down so hard in my life walking into a restaurant. It was really uncomfortable.

The plates are generous and the food is great. Thick bacon cooked perfectly, homemade biscuits and excellent service. I saw six highway patrol officers dining at one table if that tells you anything. They usually know where to go for good food. This was a great find on our road trip.

The wait is unreal here. (Do not be in a hurry, whether it's for seating or for your meal) I'm guessing its because of location and "firehouse" nostalgia. I've only ever had breakfast, I keep expecting it to get better but it's just kind of blah and you have to chew the coffee. So strong. Not worth the wait.
